Deal insights
The Greenworks 80V Axial 770 CFM Leaf Blower is a Good Deal, offering near-premium airflow and a high‑voltage cordless platform at a price below its recent typical level. Key strengths are the strong 770 CFM airflow and the 80V battery system paired with a light handheld form that aligns well with heavier mid-range or entry premium models.
Here is why
When selecting leaf blowers, compare cleaning power, power source, and weight and ergonomics. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Cleaning Power (770 CFM; 180 MPH) : 770 CFM is at the high end of mid-range and close to typical premium handheld outputs, so cleaning power is noticeably better than typical mid-range and consistent with entry premium performance. That level of airflow is well suited for larger yards and heavy leaf conditions compared with budget handhelds.
2.
Power Source (80V cordless) : An 80V platform aligns with premium/high‑voltage expectations and is stronger than typical budget or low‑voltage cordless options. This matches benchmark drivers for higher-priced models and helps justify a price toward the premium band; confirm whether the price includes the battery and charger.
3.
Weight & Ergonomics (6 pounds; ergonomic handle; axial blower) : At about 6 lb this unit is toward the heavier end of handheld kits but still within typical mid-range/entry premium handheld weights. Ergonomic handle and axial design are in line with expectations; the weight suggests trade-offs between power and fatigue for long sessions but is reasonable for occasional to moderate use.
Deal price at $229.99: sits in the upper mid-range to entry premium band for leaf blowers. It is priced below its recent 90-day average of about $273.78, which makes this offer relatively attractive for a high‑CFM cordless model from an established outdoor brand.
This Good Deal suits homeowners who want powerful cordless performance without stepping up to a commercial backpack unit. It is a practical choice for yard cleanup, leaf piles, and seasonal jobs; double-check warranty and expected battery kit inclusion when purchasing to confirm total value.
