Deal insights
The Greenworks 80V 700 CFM Axial Blower is a Good Deal, offering higher-than-typical airflow for its price band and cordless convenience while matching expected mid-range ergonomics and weight. The sub-$180 price, below the recent 90-day average, strengthens the value proposition for homeowners seeking more power without stepping to backpack or commercial models.
Here is why
When selecting leaf blowers, focus on cleaning power, power source, and weight and ergonomics. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Cleaning Power (700 CFM; 170 MPH; turbo mode) : At about 700 CFM and 170 MPH this is toward the higher end of mid-range handheld performance and close to some premium handheld figures. Turbo mode and a brushless motor are consistent with stronger mid-range designs and support real-world clearing power better than typical budget units.
2.
Power Source (80V battery) : An 80V cordless platform aligns with mid-to-premium power sources and helps explain the stronger airflow versus lower-voltage kits. Battery inclusion is decisive for value; buyers should confirm whether the price includes the 2.5Ah battery or is a tool-only listing.
3.
Weight & Ergonomics (5.84 lb; soft-grip; 74 dB) : Weight near 5.8 lb is typical for mid-range handheld kits with batteries and sits within expected ergonomics for homeowner use. Noise at 74 dB is within normal handheld ranges; overall ergonomics and size match mid-range benchmarks rather than premium backpack comfort.
Deal price at $179.99: sits in the upper mid-range band for handheld leaf blowers. It is priced below its recent 90-day average of about $209.63, which makes the current listing relatively attractive for a known cordless platform.
Overall, this Good Deal fits homeowners and yard-care users who want strong handheld airflow and cordless operation without premium backpack complexity. Confirm battery capacity and whether the sale includes the 2.5Ah battery or is tool-only, and consider warranty/return terms if purchasing a renewed or open-box unit.
