Deal insights
The Greenworks 60V 13 in String Trimmer & 540 CFM Blower Combo is a Great Deal, offering a higher-voltage 60V platform and a 13-inch cutting width at a price notably below recent levels. The specs align with mid-range expectations for power and usability while the bundled blower and the discounted price improve overall value.
Here is why
When selecting string trimmers, compare power source, cutting performance, and usability and comfort. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Power Source (60V platform; Battery powered) : Classifies as mid-range to premium-level voltage. Typical mid-range models move to 40–60V systems, so 60V is at or above mid-range expectations and supports stronger torque and runtime when paired with adequate Ah batteries.
2.
Cutting Performance (13-inch cutting; 6500 rpm) : A 13-inch swath is typical for mid-range trimmers and matches the benchmark for efficient yard work. The claimed 6500 rpm is consistent with mid-range cutting performance; it is neither clearly above premium heads nor below common mid-tier expectations.
3.
Usability & Comfort (22 pounds; cordless design) : Weight and cordless layout fit mid-range ergonomics but 22 pounds is toward the heavier side for homeowner use; benchmarks expect improved ergonomics in mid-tier kits. Buyers may want to check whether a shoulder strap or adjustable handle is included for longer sessions.
Deal price at $179.99: sits in the lower-to-mid portion of the mid-range band for string trimmers. It is priced below its recent 90-day average of about $246.77, which makes the current price comparatively attractive for a known battery platform.
Overall, this Great Deal fits homeowners who want mid-range cordless power and the convenience of a trimmer/blower combo for routine yard work. Buyers who prioritize longer runtime or pro-grade durability should confirm included battery capacity and warranty details, but the below-average price and 60V platform make this attractive for typical yard tasks.
