Deal insights
The Greenworks 40V 24" Cordless Hedge Trimmer is a Great Deal, offering a common mid-range blade length and solid ergonomics at a price below recent levels. Its 24" dual-action blades and lightweight, rotating-handle design align with mid-range expectations while the sub-$100 price undercuts many similar 40V kits.
Here is why
When selecting power hedge trimmers, focus on cutting performance, power/runtime, and weight and ergonomics. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Cutting Performance (24 inch blades; dual-action blades; 1 inch capacity) : Blade length and dual-action laser-cut blades match mid-range norms and are typical for 24" tools. The stated 1 inch cutting capacity is toward the higher end of mid-range claims and is appropriate for light-to-medium hedging tasks.
2.
Power Source & Runtime (40V platform; runtime unlisted) : 40V platform is typical for mid-range to premium cordless trimmers and supports stronger cutting than lower-voltage kits. Runtime is not listed; mid-range benchmarks expect 30–100 minutes depending on battery size, so buyers should double-check whether a battery is included and its Ah rating to judge usable runtime.
3.
Weight & Ergonomics (≈6 lb; rotating rear handle; lightweight design) : Weight and a rotating rear handle align with mid-range ergonomics and sit comfortably within expected tool weights. The ergonomic features are in line with what raises real-world value for homeowners, making handling and control typical to better-than-typical for this price band.
Deal price at $99.99: sits toward the lower end of the mid-range band for power hedge trimmers given common price bands. It is priced below its recent 30-day average of about $139.99, which makes the offer comparatively attractive for a 40V branded tool.
As a Great Deal this trimmer fits homeowners who want a 24" cutting reach with manageable weight and adjustable handling for trimming tasks. Confirm whether a battery is included and check warranty/return terms if you need runtime certainty, but the below-average price plus Greenworks platform access makes it a practical choice for routine yard work.
