Deal insights
The Greenworks 24V Brushless Reciprocating Saw is a Great Deal, offering brushless motor performance, a 1-1/8 in stroke and 2,700+ SPM at a price well below recent typical levels. Blade compatibility and a tool-free quick-change clamp match common mid-range expectations, so the package looks strong for DIY and semi-pro tasks.
Here is why
When selecting power reciprocating saws, compare stroke length, speed/motor type, battery platform, and blade compatibility. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Power & Performance (1-1/8" stroke; 2700 SPM; brushless motor; 24V) : For a lower-mid-priced offering, the listed stroke and SPM sit at or above typical mid-range expectations and align with premium stroke length. The brushless motor is a higher-tier trait that improves duty cycle and efficiency relative to basic budget models.
2.
Power Source (24V cordless; battery powered) : 24V cordless maps to the mid-range platform benchmark where buyers expect decent runtime and compatibility with common battery ecosystems. Buyers should confirm battery amp-hour or whether the listing is a bare tool, as runtime detail is not specified and affects continuous cutting performance.
3.
Blade Compatibility (1/2" quick-release; tool-free change; wood & metal) : Tool-free quick-release and included wood/metal blades match typical mid-range expectations. The clamp type is standard for this price band and supports common reciprocating blades for general demolition and cutting tasks.
Deal price at $89.99: sits toward the lower end of the mid-range band for reciprocating saws. It is priced well below its recent 90-day average of about $154.81, which makes the asking price notable for a brushless 24V model.
This Great Deal is a good fit for homeowners and tradespeople who want brushless 24V performance without paying premium brand prices. Confirm battery compatibility and warranty if you need long continuous runtime, and double-check included battery/charger status if not listed.
