Deal insights
The Greenworks PSPH24B210 24V 8" Polesaw & 20" Hedge Trimmer Combo is a Good Deal, offering a sensible mix of a 20" dual-action hedge blade and an 8" pole saw at a price below its recent average. Core features align with mid-range expectations while the brand and the current discount improve the value proposition.
Here is why
When selecting power hedge trimmers, prioritize cutting performance, power/runtime, and weight and ergonomics. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Cutting Performance (20" hedge blade; 8" polesaw bar; 7-position pivot) : Blade lengths (20" hedger, 8" polesaw) match typical mid-range cutters and provide good coverage for standard trimming tasks. The 7-position pivoting head is in line with mid-range ergonomics and helps reach varied angles; overall cutting hardware is typical for mid-range to lower-premium models.
2.
Power Source & Runtime (24V battery; runtime unlisted) : A 24V platform sits in the mid-range power tier but below the higher-voltage premium systems; typical mid-range runtime depends on battery Ah. The listing omits a runtime figure, so buyers who need extended continuous use should double-check battery capacity or whether a battery is included.
3.
Weight & Ergonomics (9.17 kg; adjustable head) : At about 9.17 kg assembled this tool is heavier than compact handheld hedgers and aligns with pole/attachment mid-range weights. Adjustable head and ergonomic positioning are consistent with mid-range expectations and help offset the weight for reach work.
Deal price at $169.99: sits in the lower-to-mid end of the premium band and toward the upper end of the mid-range band for power hedge trimmers. It is priced below its recent 30-day average of about $224.21, which makes the current offer comparatively attractive for a known brand like Greenworks.
This Good Deal suits homeowners who want a versatile cordless combo for light-to-moderate trimming and occasional pruning from height. Double-check battery inclusion and claimed runtime on the product page and confirm warranty terms, especially if runtime or continuous heavy-duty use is important.
