Deal insights
The Greenworks HTG302 Hedge Trimmer is a Good Deal, offering a common 22" blade layout and lightweight handling at a price below recent levels. Key strengths are its expected cutting reach and manageable weight; the lack of a stated runtime keeps total endurance uncertain but is not unusual for basic cordless listings.
Here is why
When selecting power hedge trimmers, consider cutting performance, power source and runtime, and weight and ergonomics. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Cutting Performance (22-inch blades; 3/4-inch capacity) : Blade length and cutting capacity match typical budget-to-mid-range expectations and align with many 20–22" units. This is a common, practical setup for homeowner trimming and is neither clearly premium nor undersized for the price band.
2.
Power Source & Runtime (24V battery; battery powered) : A 24V battery platform is typical for budget and lower mid-range trimmers. Runtime is not specified; that omission is common for basic listings but means buyers should confirm expected run time or battery inclusion if continuous use matters.
3.
Weight & Ergonomics (6.5 pounds; rotating rear-handle) : At 6.5 lb this sits within the usual handheld mid-range weight band and is consistent with typical ergonomics for this price tier. The rotating handle is a positive, mid-range ergonomic feature that helps usability during extended cuts.
Deal price at $59.99: sits near the lower end of the mid-range band and above typical budget medians for similar hedgers. It is priced below its recent 90-day average of about $86.08, which makes the offer comparatively attractive for a known mainstream brand.
Overall, this Good Deal fits homeowners who want a lightweight, battery-powered 22" trimmer for routine hedge maintenance. Great choice if you already own or plan to use Greenworks 24V batteries; double-check warranty and the listed battery/runtime details if continuous runtime is important.
