Deal insights
The Greenworks 24V 22" Cordless Laser Cut Hedge Trimmer is a Good Deal, offering typical mid-range cutting performance and ergonomics at a price slightly below its recent average. Blade length and 3/4" cutting capacity match common mid-range expectations, the 24V platform and claimed up-to-60-minute runtime align with budget-to-mid-range battery kits, and the 10 lb tool with a rotating rear handle gives the expected ergonomic features for its price.
Here is why
When selecting power hedge trimmers, prioritize cutting performance, power/runtime, and weight and ergonomics. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Cutting Performance (22" blades; 3/4" capacity) : Blade length and 3/4" capacity are typical for mid-range hedgers and in line with common expectations for 20–26" tools. This matches what buyers expect for trimming medium branches and shaping hedges at this price band.
2.
Power Source & Runtime (24V battery; 60 min runtime) : A 24V system with a 60-minute claimed runtime sits between budget and mid-range norms. Runtime claims here are typical for single-pack 20–24V kits; actual run time will depend on battery Ah and load, so confirm whether a battery is included.
3.
Weight & Ergonomics (10 lb; rotating handle; cushioned grip) : At about 10 lb this tool is heavier than many handheld hedgers but still within acceptable mid-range weights for robust 22" tools, especially with added handle features. The rotating and wrap-around handles are in line with mid-range ergonomics and should aid control during extended use.
Deal price at $99.99: sits toward the lower end of the mid-range band for power hedge trimmers. It is priced below its recent 90-day average of about $110.09, which makes the current offer somewhat more attractive for a mainstream battery-powered tool.
This Good Deal suits homeowners who want a 22" dual-action hedger with reasonable runtime and comfortable handling without paying for pro-level kits. Double-check whether the battery is included in the listing and confirm warranty/return terms; renewed or open-box condition could further change value but this listing appears like a standard cordless kit at a modest discount.
