Deal insights
The Garvee 13 gal (50 L) and 2.6 gal (10 L) Metal Trash Can Combo Set is a Great Deal, offering mid-range capacity and upgraded lid mechanics at a price below its recent average. The set matches mid-range capacity expectations for a main kitchen can with an additional small bin, and the powder-coated metal plus reinforced pedal aligns with mid-range durability. The soft-close step-on lid and removable inner bucket features are consistent with mid-range convenience.
Here is why
When selecting kitchen waste bins, focus on capacity, lid and access style, and material/durability. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Capacity (13.2 gal; 2.6 gal) : At about 13 gallons for the main can, capacity is typical for mid-range kitchen bins and matches common full-size expectations. The included small 2.6-gallon bin adds sorting flexibility and is a reasonable complement rather than a replacement for larger dual-compartment premium systems.
2.
Lid & Access (step-on pedal; soft-close lid; rear handle) : Step-on with soft-close is typical for mid-range models and improves user convenience versus basic budget pedals. This aligns with mid-range benchmarks for quiet closing and hands-free access; nothing indicates premium sensor or auto-bag features.
3.
Material & Durability (powder-coated metal; polypropylene bucket; ABS lid) : Powder-coated metal exterior and a reinforced pedal sit at or slightly above mid-range material expectations compared with typical stainless or thicker PP finishes. The mix of metal exterior with plastic inner bucket is common and suggests solid everyday durability for the mid-range price band.
Deal price at $79.99: sits near the median of the mid-range band for kitchen waste bins. It is priced below its recent 30-day average of about $102.62, which makes the current offer more attractive for a mid-range spec set.
This Great Deal is a good fit for buyers who want a full-size 13-gallon kitchen can plus a small secondary bin with sturdier metal construction and soft-close pedal access. Double-check return policy and warranty if you care about long pedal lifecycle or long-term rust resistance, but the below-average price and mid-range feature set make this sensible for typical kitchen use.
