Deal insights
The Garvee 13 gal / 50 L Plastic Trash Can with Lid, Kitchen Waste Bin, Step-On, Black is a Good Deal, offering a standard 13+ gallon capacity and mid-range convenience features at a reasonable price relative to typical mid-range models. The capacity and soft-close step-on lid match mid-range expectations, while the mix of ABS plastic body with a brushed stainless steel pedal provides decent durability for this price point.
Here is why
When selecting kitchen waste bins, key dimensions are capacity, lid and access, and material and durability. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Capacity (13.2 gallons; ≈50 L) : Capacity aligns with typical mid-range kitchen cans and is appropriate for single-kitchen use. This matches expectations for buyers who want a full-size bin rather than a compact counter model.
2.
Lid & Access (step-on opening; soft-close lid; rear handle) : Step-on with a soft-close lid is typical for mid-range models and improves everyday convenience versus basic pedal designs. The rear handle is a practical touch for moving and emptying.
3.
Material & Durability (ABS plastic; brushed stainless-steel; rustproof) : Use of ABS plastic with a stainless pedal is in line with mid-range material benchmarks: more durable than thin-budget plastics but not heavy-gauge stainless seen in premium cans. The rustproof claim and reinforced pedal suggest reasonable longevity for this price band.
Deal price at $59.99: sits in the lower-to-middle part of the mid-range band for kitchen cans. It is slightly above its recent 90-day average of about $55.37, and the listed soft-close pedal and stainless-steel pedal align with mid-range expectations for build and convenience.
This Good Deal fits buyers who want a full-size kitchen can with soft-close step access and straightforward durability without paying premium prices. Double-check warranty or return terms and confirm the inner bucket design on the product page if easy bag changes are important.
