Deal insights
The Four Candies Multicolor Pens and Highlighters Set is a Good Deal, offering typical fine 0.5mm tips, a diverse color range and a 12-item pack at a price slightly below recent averages. Features align with mid-range to upper-budget expectations, so the package works well for everyday multicolor note-taking and highlighting without premium ink chemistry or luxury build.
Here is why
When selecting gel ink pens, focus on tip size, ink performance, and pack size. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Tip Size (0.5 mm; fine tip) : At 0.5mm this matches the common fine tip seen across budget and mid-range packs. That size is typical for note-taking and aligns with benchmark expectations for accessible everyday pens.
2.
Ink Performance (quick-drying; water-based; 18 colors) : Ink claims (quick-drying, dye-based water ink) are typical for budget-to-mid-range gel pens. The large color assortment and fast-dry focus are consistent with value packs rather than archival or pigment-grade performance.
3.
Pack Size (12 items; 6 pens; 6 highlighters) : A 12-piece mixed pack sits comfortably within common multi-pack sizes and supports the product's value positioning. For the current price and assortment, pack size is a key value driver compared with single premium pens.
Deal price at $11.99: sits near the lower end of the mid-range band for gel ink pen packs. It is priced below its recent 30-day average of about $12.92, which modestly improves value for a multi-item set.
As a Good Deal, this set fits students, office users, and craft buyers who value color variety and quick-drying gel performance. Confirm return/warranty terms if that matters to you, and double-check ink permanence if archival use is required.
