Deal insights
The EGO Power+ LB8800 Leaf Blower is a Good Deal, offering strong airflow and lightweight handheld ergonomics at a price that undercuts its recent typical level. The blower's 880 CFM max and battery power align with premium cordless performance while the 5-pound item weight and carbon-fiber elements keep it easier to handle than many heavier premium units.
Here is why
When selecting leaf blowers, compare cleaning power, power source, and weight and ergonomics. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Cleaning Power (880 CFM max; 200 MPH speed) : Classifies toward premium handheld performance given the 880 CFM peak. This exceeds typical mid-range values and matches premium-level peak airflow benchmarks, so cleaning power is noticeably better than typical mid-range and in line with premium handheld expectations.
2.
Power Source (battery powered) : Battery power is typical for mid-range and premium cordless platforms. For a premium-priced unit, buyers should confirm whether high-voltage platform or battery kit is included, since brand and battery spec materially affect runtime and real-world value.
3.
Weight & Ergonomics (5 lb weight; carbon fiber; two-handed grip) : Weight is toward the lighter end of typical premium handhelds and matches mid-to-upper ergonomics benchmarks. The carbon-fiber body and grip options suggest improved handling versus basic budget models, which supports comfortable use during medium-duty yard work.
Deal price at $239: sits in the premium-price band for handheld leaf blowers but below the median for premium models. It is priced below its recent 30-day average of about $257.82, which makes the current price relatively attractive for a premium cordless offering.
Overall, this Good Deal fits homeowners who want near-premium cordless power without paying the full usual premium. It is well suited for yard maintenance where high burst airflow and lighter handheld handling matter; buyers who care about warranty or kit battery inclusion should double-check the listing and return/warranty terms.
