Deal insights
Dell Laptop Charger 90W Barrel 7.4mm tip AC Adapter is a Good Deal, offering higher-than-typical charging power for mid/budget replacements and OEM connector compatibility at a price below its recent 90-day average. The feature set matches what buyers expect from a branded 90W replacement brick, with a straightforward accessory bundle and typical portability for this style.
Here is why
When selecting laptop chargers & adapters, key considerations include charging power, connector compatibility, portability, and included accessories. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Charging Power (90 W max; 19.5 V; 4.62 A) : At 90 W this is noticeably better than typical budget replacements and sits above many mid-range 45–65W units. For its implied mid-to-premium positioning, the power output is at or slightly above typical expectations and is a strong point for heavier laptops.
2.
Connector Compatibility (7.4 mm barrel; OEM P/Ns) : Connector and listed part numbers align with OEM-style replacements and match premium/mid-range expectations for brand-specific adapters. This specificity is useful for fit; buyers should confirm one of the listed P/Ns matches their device.
3.
Portability (power brick; Type A plug) : Portability is typical for an OEM barrel brick rather than a compact GaN USB‑C unit. Benchmarks expect a heavier brick in this category, so portability is ordinary for the form factor and consistent with the price band.
4.
Included Accessories (AC adapter) : Inclusion of the adapter only is typical for many replacement bricks; mid-range chargers sometimes include a detachable cord or extra cable. If you need a specific cord length or travel plugs, consider confirming what cable is provided before buying.
Deal price at $34.98: sits near the lower end of the premium band for replacement OEM-style barrel adapters and above typical mid-range USB‑C PD replacements. It is priced below its recent 90-day average of about $42.42, which makes the current listing relatively more attractive for an OEM-branded adapter.
This Good Deal fits buyers who need a Dell-compatible 7.4 mm barrel replacement with solid 90W output and prefer OEM-branded parts over generic USB‑C swaps. Double-check warranty/return terms and that the listed part numbers match your laptop model before purchase.
