Deal insights
Dell 450-AHOM USB-C 130 W AC Adapter is a Good Deal, offering OEM-level 130W USB-C PD capacity and standard portability at a price slightly below recent averages. The power output aligns with higher-tier adapters, the USB-C single-port compatibility matches modern laptops, and the included 1m cord is typical for replacement bricks.
Here is why
When selecting laptop chargers & adapters, key considerations are chargingPower, connectorCompatibility, portability, and includedAccessories. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Charging Power (130W output; 20V 3.34A) : At 130W this adapter sits at or above typical premium single-port wattage and above mid-range expectations. For users with high-power laptops this is better than the usual 65W replacements and aligns with higher-tier OEM bricks.
2.
Connector Compatibility (USB-C PD; single USB-C; wall-mount) : USB-C PD single-port is typical for mid-range and premium segments. As an OEM Dell adapter, compatibility with Dell USB-C laptops is a practical advantage compared with generic barrel-tip replacements.
3.
Portability (5.6 oz; 1m cord) : Weight and brick form factor are within common premium-to-mid-range ranges and are reasonably portable. This is heavier than the smallest GaN travel cubes but typical for a 130W OEM brick.
4.
Included Accessories (1m power cord) : A single 1m power cord matches typical inclusion for mid-range and premium OEM adapters. Buyers who need a high-current 5A/240W USB-C cable or longer braided cable should confirm what is bundled or purchase separately.
Deal price at $39.18: sits near the lower end of the premium band and above typical mid-range prices for laptop chargers. It is priced slightly below its recent 30-day average of about $40.68, which modestly improves value for an OEM-branded 130W adapter.
This Good Deal suits users who need a high-watt OEM USB-C charger for gaming or 100W+ laptops and prefer brand compatibility. Buyers who prioritize a 5A/240W certified cable or multiport charging should confirm cable specs and extras; also double-check warranty/return terms for peace of mind.
