Deal insights
The Dell P2720D 27IN Monitor is a Good Deal, offering a QHD 2560×1440 panel in a 27-inch size with solid connectivity at a price noticeably below its recent average. The feature set matches typical mid-range expectations for resolution and ports, while the renewed condition and Dell branding help justify buyer confidence without a premium price.
Here is why
When selecting computer monitors, focus on display quality, screen size, and connectivity/ergonomics. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Display Quality (2560×1440 QHD; anti-glare LCD) : At a mid-range price this resolution is typical and desirable; benchmarked mid-range units commonly offer FHD–QHD IPS panels. The listed specs align with mid-range expectations rather than premium OLED/Retina class performance.
2.
Screen Size (27 inches) : A 27-inch size is squarely typical for mid-range desktop monitors and matches the premium-sized cluster for desktop use. This size combined with QHD is the expected sweet spot for productivity and matches benchmarks for this price band.
3.
Connectivity & Ergonomics (DisplayPort input; HDMI input; USB 3.0 ports; 178° viewing) : Connectivity is typical for mid-range monitors with DisplayPort/HDMI and a basic USB hub. The listing does not specify VESA mounting clearly; buyers who need an arm or VESA stand should double-check mount compatibility before purchase. The renewed condition can explain the lower price and buyers should confirm warranty coverage.
Deal price at $229: sits in the mid-range band for desktop monitors. It is priced below its recent 90-day average of about $331.46, and the renewed condition may explain part of the discount.
Overall, this Good Deal suits buyers who want a 27-inch QHD office monitor with DisplayPort/HDMI and a basic USB hub at a lower price than usual. Confirm warranty/return terms for the renewed unit and check VESA mount compatibility if you plan to wall- or arm-mount it.
