Deal insights
The Dell 15 Laptop is a Great Deal, offering an Intel Core i7-1355U configuration and a 15.6-inch IPS 1920x1200 touchscreen at a price well below its recent typical level. The CPU spec and 15.6" IPS panel are strong for mid-range positioning, and the notable gap to the 90-day average supports good value for buyers focused on day-to-day performance and a quality display.
Here is why
When selecting traditional laptop computers, compare CPU and GPU performance, battery life and portability, and display quality. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Performance (i7-1355U; 10 cores; 5.0 GHz turbo) : At this mid-range price band the i7-1355U is stronger than typical mainstream U-series options and aligns with higher-end mid-range performance. This configuration is noticeably better than budget CPU expectations and should deliver solid multitasking and productivity responsiveness.
2.
Battery Life (60 min charging; capacity not listed) : Typical mid-range battery life expectations are about 11–14 hours; the 60-minute fast-charging note is positive but the actual capacity is not stated. Buyers who need long unplugged runtime should double-check the mAh/Wh rating on the product page.
3.
Portability (15.6" chassis; weight unlisted) : A 15.6" mainstream chassis fits the mid-range portability profile. Exact weight is missing, which matters for frequent travelers; expect typical mid-range 15.6" machines around 1.5–1.9 kg unless this is a lighter ultrabook variant.
4.
Display Quality (1920x1200; IPS touchscreen) : This WUXGA-ish 1920x1200 IPS touchscreen is at or above typical mid-range displays and better than many budget panels. The higher vertical resolution and touch support are meaningful positives for productivity and content viewing at this price.
Deal price at $799.49: sits in the mid-range band for traditional laptops. It is priced well below its recent 90-day average of about $1,226.53, which improves the offer for a mainstream Dell configuration.
Overall, this Great Deal suits shoppers who want a responsive everyday laptop for productivity, light content work, and multitasking without paying premium workstation prices. Double-check battery capacity and exact weight if long unplugged runtime or travel weight are critical, and confirm warranty/return terms given the price gap to recent averages.
