Deal insights
Callaway Supersoft Max Golf Balls 12B PK is a Good Deal, offering a known-brand dozen at a price below its recent average and with construction cues that align with mid-range expectations for playability. The listed multi-layer construction and rubber material suggest softer feel than basic budget balls, while the 12-count pack and Callaway name match buyer expectations for recreational and improving players.
Here is why
When selecting standard golf balls, focus on performance profile, construction and cover, and pack size. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Performance Profile (consistent flight; distance oriented) : At this price point the profile reads like a distance/soft-feel model common near mid-range entry levels. Benchmarks show mid-range balls aim for balanced distance and softer feel, so this claim is typical for a model positioned between budget and mid-range.
2.
Construction & Cover (multi-layer; rubber cover) : Multi-layer construction is more in line with mid-range benchmarks, which often offer 3–4 piece builds and urethane or hybrid covers. The listing omits a named urethane cover; that absence is common in some listings but buyers who prioritize tour-style urethane should confirm cover material on the product page.
3.
Pack Size (one dozen) : A 12-ball pack matches the typical pack size for both mid-range and premium dozen offerings and is standard for recreational buyers. Given the price and brand, the dozen format aligns with buyer expectations and does not push value judgment either way.
Deal price at $24.99: sits at the high end of the budget band and right below the mid-range entry for standard golf balls. It is priced below its recent 90-day average of about $29.92, which makes the current price relatively attractive for a recognized brand.
This Good Deal suits golfers who want softer, distance-oriented practice and on-course play without paying premium tour-ball prices. Buyers who care about exact spin and cover material should double-check the full spec sheet or product page, and consider warranty/return terms if condition is non-standard.
