Deal insights
The Callaway Elyte Triple Diamond Fairway Wood is a Good Deal, offering a common 18° loft, a multi-feature head design and a named mid-weight shaft at a price below its recent average. Head design and the Artera EC1 75g shaft align with mid-range expectations, while the limited adjustability is typical for many clubs in this band.
Here is why
When selecting golf fairway woods, focus on loft, head design, shaft specifications, and adjustability. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Loft (18° loft) : 18° is typical for a single-head fairway and matches mid-range expectations. Loft alone is common across tiers and does not by itself justify premium pricing.
2.
Head Design (cavity back; stepped sole; low‑spin forward weight) : Design cues (forward low-spin weight, stepped sole) align with mid-range benchmarks that favor low/forward CG and forgiveness. Construction leans alloy/steel rather than multi-material premium builds, so it fits typical mid-range performance rather than premium-level multi-material engineering.
3.
Shaft Specifications (Artera EC1; 75g stiff; length unlisted) : A named mid-weight 75g shaft is consistent with mid-range to upper mid-range expectations and is a positive signal for performance and feel. Length is not specified; buyers who need exact fitting should confirm shaft length before purchase.
4.
Adjustability (unlisted) : Listing indicates no clear adjustability details; mid-range models often have limited or single-sleeve adjustability. If adjustability is important, double-check the product page since multi-position systems are more typical of premium-tier clubs.
Deal price at $249.99: sits in the mid-range band for fairway woods. It is priced below its recent 90-day average of about $292.53, which makes the current listing relatively more attractive for a name brand like Callaway.
Overall, this Good Deal suits players who want a mid-range fairway wood from a recognized brand with a performance-oriented shaft and low-spin head cues. Great for golfers seeking forgiveness with a stiffer feel; double-check warranty and shaft length if custom fitting matters and confirm adjustability options on the product page.
