Deal insights
The Blackstone 5003 28” Griddle Hard Cover is a Good Deal, offering model-specific fit and stainless/powder-coated materials at a price below recent levels. Fit compatibility matches typical mid-range expectations for Blackstone-tailored covers, while material and fastening details are broadly in line with mid-range listings though ventilation claims are minimal.
Here is why
When selecting grill covers, focus on fit compatibility, material and weather protection, and fastening/ventilation. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Fit Compatibility (fits 28" griddles; 28"L x 18.5"W) : This is typical for mid-range, model-specific covers and aligns with expectations for Blackstone griddle fits. A tailored fit is useful for protection and prevents excess flapping versus universal covers.
2.
Material & Weather Protection (stainless steel; powder-coated steel; weather unlisted) : The metal-facing materials are consistent with mid-range emphasis on durability, though benchmark mid-range covers more often cite 600D textiles with sealed seams. The listing does not quantify seam sealing or PU/PVC liners; buyers who need confirmed waterproofing should double-check those details.
3.
Fastening & Ventilation (lid closure; two handles; hanging brackets; no vents) : Fastening is simpler than the multi-strap or buckled systems common in higher mid-range items but matches many mid-level covers that rely on handles and basic closures. Absence of vents is common on simpler covers; if condensation control is a priority, consider models that advertise vents or air pockets.
Deal price at $35.75: sits in the mid-range price band for grill covers, given common mid-range medians near the low-to-mid $30s. It is priced below its recent 90-day average of about $41.28, which makes the current price relatively attractive for a brand-focused griddle cover.
Overall, this Good Deal suits Blackstone owners who want a tailored 28" cover with sturdier metal-facing materials without paying premium prices. Great for routine outdoor protection ; double-check the listed weatherproofing details and return policy if you need sealed seams or explicit vents for wetter climates.
