Deal insights
The Baseus Bass BP1 NC is a Great Deal, offering a surprisingly full feature set for the price with strong battery totals and hybrid ANC claims while undercutting recent typical prices. The key strengths are long combined playtime and hybrid ANC plus AI ENC at a budget-to-mid-range price, which together make it a compelling value pick.
Here is why
When selecting earbud & in-ear headphones, focus on audio quality, battery life, noise control, and connectivity. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Audio Quality (12 mm driver; bass-forward tuning; 24 EQ presets) : For a budget-priced model, a 12 mm driver and multiple EQ presets are in line with or slightly stronger than typical budget offerings. Tuning is bass-forward, which matches many value earbuds; this is consistent with budget-to-mid-range expectations rather than premium fidelity.
2.
Battery Life (7 hr per charge; 41 hr case; 10 min → 2 hr) : Total playtime of 41 hours is well above typical single-charge and case totals for basic budget buds and sits closer to mid-range combined runtimes. Single-charge runtime of 7 hours is typical for budget models but the large case total is a standout for the price.
3.
Noise Control (hybrid ANC; 4-mic AI ENC; -43 dB claim) : Hybrid ANC and a 4-mic AI ENC are stronger than typical budget passive-only benchmarks and align with lower mid-range features. The -43 dB figure is a marketing-style claim; real-world ANC performance may vary, but the presence of hybrid ANC plus ENC is a meaningful step up for this price band.
4.
Connectivity & Controls (Bluetooth 6.0; 10 m range; touch controls) : Bluetooth 6.0 and touch controls are on par with mid-range expectations and better than many budget-only models using older stacks. Lack of a wired option is common at this price and does not materially weaken the offering compared with the benchmark connectivity range.
Deal price at $17.99: sits near the upper end of the budget band and toward the lower edge of the mid-range price band for earbuds. It is priced below its recent 30-day average of about $34.86, which makes the current offer relatively attractive for a value-oriented brand.
Overall, this Great Deal suits buyers seeking long battery life and active noise reduction on a tight budget, and those willing to accept a value brand for those trade-offs. Confirm fit and tip seal for passive isolation and check warranty/return terms if you care about long-term support.
