Deal insights
BLACK+DECKER 20V MAX PowerConnect Cordless Drill/Driver + Circular Saw Combo Kit is a Good Deal, offering a useful two-tool bundle and a 20V battery platform at a price below recent listings. The included pieces match common 2-tool mid-range bundles, the 20V lithium platform is standard for this price band, and overall tool performance details are typical for a value-oriented kit rather than pro-grade gear.
Here is why
When selecting power tool combo kits, compare included tools, battery system, and tool performance. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Included Pieces (drill/driver; circular saw; single battery) : The two-tool combo aligns with typical mid-range included pieces where 2-tool kits are common. The accessory list is compact compared with large-value kits, which is normal for targeted 2-tool bundles.
2.
Battery System (20V lithium; 1 battery) : A 20V lithium platform is typical for both budget and mid-range kits; many mid-range sets include higher-Ah packs or two batteries. Having one battery suggests typical entry/mid-level runtime rather than extended pro runtime.
3.
Tool Performance (drill + saw; motor unlisted) : Performance numbers are not provided; for this price and brand the likely expectation is brushed or entry brushless performance typical of value mid-range kits. Buyers who need sustained high torque or brushless motors should confirm motor type and torque specs before purchase.
Deal price at $116.28: sits near the lower end of the mid-range band for power tool combos and above typical budget pack medians. It is priced below its recent 90-day average of about $133.60, which modestly improves the value proposition for a mainstream brand.
This Good Deal suits DIYers and homeowners who want a basic drill plus circular saw on a common 20V platform without paying for pro-level batteries or brushless motors. Double-check battery capacity, motor type, and warranty terms if you expect heavy or professional use; for light-to-moderate projects this kit is a practical value.
