Deal insights
Amazon Basics Foldable Burlap Cloth Cube Storage Bins with Lid, 2-pack, Gray is a Great Deal, offering a reasonable capacity and expected budget construction at a price below recent typical levels. The two-piece set, simple lift-off lids, and reinforced base board match common budget expectations while the Amazon Basics name provides predictable value for everyday closet or shelf use.
Here is why
When selecting lidded home storage bins, focus on capacity, material and construction, lid and closure, and how many pieces are included. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Capacity (10 lb capacity; 13"L x 13"W x 13"H) : At budget price levels this capacity and cube dimensions are typical for fabric storage cubes. The size fits common shelving and closet grids and is neither oversized nor comparable to mid-range larger totes.
2.
Material & Construction (burlap fabric; foldable design; 2 side handles) : This matches budget-typical soft-sided fabric with a cardboard/board insert. Construction is in line with inexpensive collapsible bins rather than thicker stamped polypropylene seen in higher tiers.
3.
Lid & Closure (lift-off lid; foldable lid) : A simple lift-off lid is common at the budget level and aligns with typical snap/lift closures; it provides basic dust coverage but lacks the latching or gasketed sealing of mid-range and premium bins.
4.
Included Pieces (2 bins; 2 lids) : A two-piece pack is common for both budget and mid-range offerings and represents expected value for the price; multi-packs can tilt perceived value, and here the pair fits typical small-set benchmarks.
Deal price at $19.42: sits at the lower end of the budget band for lidded home storage bins. It is priced below its recent 30-day average of about $27.15, which makes the offer more attractive for a basic fabric cube from a mainstream value brand.
This Great Deal is well suited for buyers who want inexpensive, foldable fabric storage for closets, shelves, or light household use. Confirm load needs and warranty if you plan heavier-duty storage; the lower price and brand make it a practical choice for organizing soft items or seasonal goods.
