Deal insights
The Alata Cube 65-Piece Forged Stainless Steel Mirror Flatware Set for 12 is a Good Deal, offering forged stainless construction and a full 65-piece service at a price a bit below its recent average. The set’s materials and large piece count align with higher-end tabletop offerings rather than typical lightweight camping kits, which supports the price even though camping-focused ultralight features are absent.
Here is why
When selecting camping flatware, focus on material and durability, weight and packability, and the included pieces. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Material & Durability (18/0 stainless; forged finish; corrosion resistant) : The listing specifies forged 18/0 stainless and corrosion resistance. For its price area this is consistent with higher-end stainless flatware, though premium benchmarks often cite 18/8 or 18/10 grade; the material is better than basic budget plastics or ungraded steel but short of top-tier grade specifications.
2.
Weight & Packability (5.58 kg; 65 pieces) : Total weight and full-service piece count place this as a tabletop/full set rather than an ultralight camping kit. That matches premium-style multi-piece flatware where higher mass is expected; it is heavier than mid-range ultralight options but typical for forged multi-piece sets.
3.
Included Pieces (service for 12; serving set; salad forks) : A 65-piece service for 12 is well above typical camping pack sizes and aligns with premium multi-piece table sets. Piece count itself is not a strong price driver, but combined with forged construction it justifies a higher price compared with small camping utensil kits.
Deal price at $95: well above typical premium and mid-range bands for camping flatware and sits in a price area more common for full forged table flatware sets. It is priced below its recent 30-day average of about $102.57, which modestly improves the value case for a forged stainless multi-piece service set.
Overall, this Good Deal fits buyers who want a full-service, forged stainless flatware set for gatherings or campsite dining where durability and a complete service for 12 matter more than ultralight packability. Great for household entertaining or car/van camping; double-check warranty and finish care instructions if you expect heavy outdoor use.
