Deal insights
The ALSO GO 21V Cordless String Trimmer is a Great Deal, offering a competitive price below recent averages with a typical budget-level battery platform and expected cutting width and ergonomics for casual yard work.
Here is why
When selecting string trimmers, key considerations are power source, cutting performance, and usability and comfort. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Power Source (21V battery; 2×2500mAh; fast charger) : Mapped to the budget band: the 21V dual 2.5Ah setup matches typical budget cordless platforms. For this price point the included batteries and charger are a positive value; buyers who need long runtime should expect mid-range systems to offer higher-voltage or larger Ah packs.
2.
Cutting Performance (12" cutting; 9500 rpm; auto-feed line; trims & edges) : Performance aligns with budget expectations where 10–12" swaths and auto-feed heads are common. The 12" width and edging pivot are typical for homeowner use and not on par with mid-range 13–15" heavy-duty units, but suitable for routine lawn edges and light overgrowth.
3.
Usability & Comfort (foldable shaft; rubberized grip; 180° handle) : Ergonomics are at or slightly above typical budget offerings: foldable shaft and adjustable handle improve storage and comfort and mirror mid-tier conveniences. This makes the tool easier to use for casual users, though pro-level anti-vibration or harness features are not present.
Deal price at $31.49: sits below typical mid-range and toward the lower end of budget pricing for string trimmers. It is priced below its recent 90-day average of about $52.73, which makes the offer attractive for a battery kit at this level.
Overall, this Great Deal fits buyers seeking an affordable, lightweight cordless trimmer for light-to-moderate trimming and edging. Double-check battery runtime and warranty details and confirm charger compatibility if you plan heavier or extended use.
