Deal insights
The Beferich J18 4K+2.5K Dash Cam Front and Rear is a Great Deal, offering ambitious front 4K and rear 2.5K imaging plus dual-channel coverage and an included 64GB card at a price well below its recent average. The feature set compares favorably to budget expectations and edges into mid-range video and recording capabilities for the price.
Here is why
When selecting car on-dash mounted cameras, focus on video quality, coverage and lenses, and power and recording features. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Video Quality (4K front; 2.5K rear; WDR/HDR; 3.16" IPS) : For a budget-priced unit this offers better-than-typical resolution, moving toward mid-range video expectations. The claimed 4K front and HDR/WDR are stronger than many budget units, though very high-frame or STARVIS-class low-light performance typical of premium models is not stated.
2.
Coverage & Lenses (front+rear; 170° front; 150° rear) : Dual-channel front+rear coverage and wide FOVs are typical for mid-to-upper budget kits and align with mid-range norms for basic multi-channel setups. The coverage is appropriate for everyday driving documentation and compares favorably to single-front budget models.
3.
Power & Recording (GPS logging; 5GHz Wi-Fi; loop recording; 64GB) : The power and recording features match or slightly exceed budget expectations, with GPS, loop recording and a G-sensor typical for mid-range entry units. Inclusion of a 64GB card is a tangible value add; buffered parking mode or hardwiring support is not detailed, so buyers who need advanced parking monitoring should confirm those specifics.
Deal price at $39.99: sits at the upper end of the budget band and just below the mid-range entry point for dash cameras. It is priced below its recent 30-day average of about $78.99, which makes the current offer notably cheaper than its recent typical level.
Overall, this Great Deal suits buyers who want higher-resolution front and rear recording without paying mid-range typical prices. It's a good fit for commuters and drivers who value clearer evidence footage and built-in GPS/wifi, but double-check warranty and parking-mode details before purchase.
